Welcome

Kia Ora Koutou,

Welcome to your ECE Assessment for Learning Wikispace.
This Wiki has been created so that we can have on line discussions about
the implementation of the key messages of Kei Tua o te Pae.
It is a protected space that only you, the invited members can contribute to.
It is a place where you can share practice, ask questions and contibute
ideas and resources about Assessment for Learning in your ECE setting.
I am Glynis Cooper, your facilitator for Professional Development. I have set up
this space as a learning opportunity for myself and others who want to
explore the benefits and challenges of an on-line Community of Practice.

Ka Kite ano ra,
Glynis

Whāia te iti kahurangi,
ki te tuohu koe me maunga teitei.

Pursue that which is precious
and do not be
deterred by
anything less than a lofty mountain.

How to use the site

This page is not for us to write on. I suggest that any 'discussions' (questions, concerns, comments etc) be placed on the discussion page on the left (under Navigation) rather than the discussion tab above, as this page is ongoing (things don't disappear) and more user friendly.

If you are unsure of how to manage actions on the site (like uploading files), ask and I'll guide you through (not do it for you). I will put up some guides written by other teachers that may be of some help too. The more you use wikis the simpler things become. It's just taking the first steps that can be a little scary. We will have a look at this together at our next Cluster Meeting.

If you tick the 'notify me' tab (above) you will get an email whenever someone puts something new on the wiki, meaning you don't need to keep checking it just in case. Ask it to monitor the whole wiki not just this page.
